The Firefighter Survival Course that is intended to reduce the number of fire fighters killed or injured while performing their duties on an annual basis. The class will be 8 to 10 hours, and will give you a greater understanding of firefighter survival terminology, developing a survival attitude, increasing situational awareness, and being trained in problem-solving techniques so you can become more self-reliant in an emergency.
Class will meet on March 26, 2018 from 0800 to 1600 hours (extra time if needed after class)
Required Equipment: Turnout gear, SCBA, water bottle. There will be a working lunch (not provided)
Prerequisite: current certified firefighter with chief's approval
