Live Fire Instructor
Dates: April 19-21, 2022
Meets: Tu, W and Th from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Location: Cuyahoga Falls Station 5
This course will provide students with an introduction to the necessary knowledge and tools to properly prepare and conduct live fire training evolutions. The course includes an in-depth analysis of NFPA 1403, addressing evolutions at acquired structures; gas-fired training buildings; non-gas-fired training buildings; exterior props, vehicle fires, and exterior class B fires.
Date: April 19, 20, 2022 (classroom days) & April 21, 2022 (live burn day) Time: 0900-1730 hours
Location: Cuyahoga Falls Station 5, 3497 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls.
Tuition: $850 (does not include book)
Textbook: Live Fire Training: Principles and Practice, Second Edition
Maximum Students: 25
Requirements: Valid fire instructor certificate in good standing, agency sponsor with approval letter from your Chief, and ICS 700, 100, and 200 certifications.
Provided with Course: Case histories, NIOSH reports, course evaluation form, NFPA 1403 forms, water supply calculator, OEMS Fire Charter Training Facilities - Live Fire Training Structures and props capability summary.
