Emergency Service Instructors Certification

This 60 hour course is designed for those who wish to become a Certified in the State of Ohio as a Fire Instructor. This course complies with NFPA 1041 Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications. Students must have 5 years' experience in the fire service and pass the knowledge exam with an 80%. Prior to entrance to this class, you must show proof of passing the Fire Knowledge exam. In addition, students must complete student teaching requirements and pass the division of EMS Instructor Techniques examination. All course work must be completed within 24 months from the date of your Fire Knowledge exam.
Date: April 6th- 11th, 2015. Monday-Saturday from 0900-1700. Students will need to complete an additional 10 hours of supervised teaching before taking the State of Ohio certification exam.
Tuition: $475 (book not included) Book and workbook can be purchased through the UA for $130.00

Thursday, March 5, 2015 Test begins at 2:15
