COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course provides students with essential knowledge and practical skills related to the technology tools and methods required for construction inspection. In today's construction environment, quality control and assurance are critical for quality project delivery. Students are introduced to the technology used for inspection of methods and materials, record tracking, and the digital technology necessary for day-to-day construction field operations. Whether you're an aspiring inspector, a contractor, or a project manager, this course equips you with the tools to ensure quality, safety, and compliance in construction processes.
COURSE RATIONALE:
The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the technology and methods for the observation, inspection, reporting and communicating of data and information related to materials and workmanship for construction. Detecting and addressing quality issues promptly can prevent costly re-work and lead to faster project completion.
