COURSE RATIONALE:
The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the technology and methods for the observation, inspection, reporting and communicating of data and information related to materials and workmanship for construction. Quality control in construction is vitally important for ensuring safety and compliance and delivering high-quality construction. Detecting and addressing quality issues promptly can prevent costly re-work and lead to faster project completion. A well-executed project reflects positively on the construction company and optimizes overall client satisfaction.
