Fire Safety Inspector

This 80 hour course is designed to meet the requirements for State of Ohio Fire Safety Inspector. This class meets certification requirements established by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and NFPA 1031, Fire Inspector Professional Qualifications.

Dates: August 11-25, 2025. This class will be an in-person class.
Location: Seville-Guilford Fire Department

The state certification test is TBD

Tuition: $675.00 (textbook not included)

Required Textbook: IFSTA Fire Inspection and Code Enforcement, 8th Edition, ISBN 978-0-87939-605-3

Students must bring the current Ohio Fire Code book to class. The Fire Code book is used heavily starting on the first day.
