Fire Safety Inspector

This 80 hour course is designed to meet the requirements for State of Ohio Fire Safety Inspector. This class meets certification requirements established by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and NFPA 1031, Fire Inspector Professional Qualifications.

Dates: March 10-24,2025, Mon-Fri from 0830 to 1630. This class will be an in-person class.

The state certification test is TBD

Location: Greentown Fire Department, 10100 Cleveland Ave NW, Uniontown

Tuition: $675.00 (textbook not included)

Required Textbook: IFSTA Fire Inspection and Code Enforcement, 8th Edition, ISBN 978-0-87939-605-3

Students must bring the current Ohio Fire Code book to class. The Fire Code book is used heavily starting on the first day.
