Fire Officer I

This course is based on NFPA 1021 "Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications".

Dates: Sept. 14, 21, 28 & Oct. 5, 2026 (meeting in-person once a week every Monday )

Time: 0830 to 1230 hrs
Location: Springfield Fire Department, 2454 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44312

The Fire Officer I course will be delivered in-person only starting Sept. 8, 2025. Class will meet in-person every Monday from 0830 to 1230. Due dates and assignments will be clearly communicated on the first day of class. The time period in between classes will allow for assignment and mid term exam completion.
