This program is designed to enable first-time supervisors a chance to figure out what is
required to be a good leader. We will tackle the topics that
can trip up a new supervisor including, communications, delegation, conflict, and team building.
Topics include:
Now that you're a Supervisor…What's Next?
We will discuss what it means to be a leader today and the common mistakes that new
supervisors make along with how to avoid them.

Communication Techniques for New Leaders
Communication is the essence of the role of a leader. You will take the Everything DiSC®
assessment which will provide you with a report detailing your communication style.

Dealing with Difficult People
Turning chronic complainers into content employees takes courage and commitment.
During this session we offer tips and techniques for supervising attitude problems and
disagreeable people while maintaining professionalism, productivity, and teamwork.

The New Supervisor's Playbook
Setting clear expectations and driving accountability is central to creating a culture where
team members are valued and respected for their unique contributions and performance.
Each participant will create their team's dashboard and identify action plans that will
enhance performance.
